You are required to successfully complete six tasks for the Performance Assessment for Teacher Leaders in an online submission system. Each task addresses specific standards within the Teacher Leader Model Standards.
You can enter your task responses one at a time or simultaneously. If you are working on more than one task at a time, you must save your response within each part of the task and then save your draft of the task response before moving to a different task. If you do not do this, you will lose what you have entered.
When you submit a task response for scoring, it must be complete and include all required artifacts.
Before beginning the assessment, review the PATL Candidate and Educator Handbook for information about the tasks, rubrics, writing guidelines, collecting artifacts, online submission system, how to attach artifacts, and more.
Completing the Assessment in a Virtual Learning Environment
Candidates who are not able to have face-to-face interactions as a result of COVID-19 restrictions can still complete the assessment. Review the Guidance for Completing the PATL Assessment in a Virtual or Hybrid Environment.
