About the ETS® NOTE Assessment

The ETS® NOTE program is a standardized performance assessment that measures teaching candidates’ knowledge and skills. Developed by the makers of the Praxis® tests, the NOTE program is used for licensing and certification processes.

Supporting Your Institutions of Higher Education

The NOTE program can be used by states to assess prospective teachers' knowledge and skills as they are applied in the context of effective teaching. ETS will offer a variety of test preparation resources and workshops to support Education Preparation Programs in implementing High Leverage Practices into their curriculum.
