The ETS® NOTE™ program is a standardized performance assessment that measures teaching candidates’ knowledge and skills. Developed by the makers of the Praxis® tests, the NOTE program is used for licensing and certification processes.
Learn about how the NOTE program was developed and the steps that ETS takes to ensure that all of our assessments are valid and fair. See Assessment Development.
Find out how ETS works with a state that wants to adopt the NOTE program. From assessing a state’s needs to conducting standard-setting studies to changing requirements, ETS is available throughout the Adoption Process.
