School-based Programs and Services

Informed teaching improves student learning.

ETS's school-based assessments and school improvement services offer educators proven tools and methods to develop teaching and learning.

Institute for Student Achievement

The Institute for Student Achievement (ISA), now a part of ETS, is working to help close the achievement gap. Founded by Dr. Gerry House, Ph.D., its mission is to help transform public high schools so that students who are traditionally underserved and underperforming can graduate prepared for success in college.

NCEA Assessments

NCEA assessment instruments are designed to strengthen catechetical education programs. The Information for Growth (IFG) survey for adults and the IFG:ACRE Assessment for students are tools to support effective catechesis for a lifetime of learning. Educational Testing Service (ETS) is NCEA's outsourcer for order fulfillment, online test delivery, scoring and reporting activities.
